PRACTICUM MINISTRY EXPERIENCE

At Free Chapel College, your education goes beyond the classroom into practical opportunities for leadership in a variety of ministries. This immersive training (or, practicums) will develop students in their character, gifting, and experience. Additionally, Southeastern students will earn educational credit toward their degree program.

WORSHIP ARTS

At Free Chapel, we value high-energy authentic worship in all of our Sunday services and events. Worship Practicum students will gain practical, hands-on training, and learn how to develop weekly worship experiences in all of the ministries at Free Chapel. Through each semester, Pastoral staff will guide students through the process of organizing teams, creating setlist, processing auditions, producing music, and more.

CREATIVE MEDIA

During the course of the semester, Creative Media students will be given the opportunity to learn a variety of mediums including Marketing, Graphic Design, Video Production, Social Media Management, Photography, Environment Design, and more.

YOUTH

Youth Practicum, or FCY, is the Junior High and High School ministries of Free Chapel. We are committed to creating a place where young people can love God, love themselves, and love others. Students will have the opportunity to lead in many areas of FCY such as Youth Nights, FCY Groups, outreach projects, reaching schools, and our weekly Sunday Services.

YOUNG ADULTS

Young Adults, or FCYA is the young adult (18-30) community at Free Chapel. As a part of the FCYA practicum, students will take part in leading in an FCYA group, our monthly Third Wednesday gatherings, special events, as well as leaders meetings, pastoral development, outreach projects, and the YA section at the 11am service on Sundays.

PRODUCTION

The Production Practicum is a hands-on track designed to give students an overview of Free Chapel production. Students will experience all-team components of production (Live Audio, Broadcast, Lights, Stage, Recording, and Events) as it relates to weekend services, ministry gatherings, and special events.

CONNECTIONS

The Connections Practicum is designed to give students an understanding of the heartbeat of our church - Connect Groups. These are small groups that focus on creating community, taking church beyond Sundays, and building life-changing relationships.

KIDPAK

KidPak is the children’s ministry at Free Chapel. In a healthy and growing ministry, practicum students will have the opportunity to lead and pastor children through Weekend Services, operations, creative installs, and productions.

COLLEGE

College Practicum is designed to provide students with hands-on training as you learn and experience the behind the scenes of higher education. Students will have the opportunity to engage with our college staff in areas like marketing and promotion, communications and social media, curriculum, student life events, and project management.
